Are you getting your videos up in YouTube? I hope these posts help you become visible, tell compelling stories and to stand out by branding yourself in Youtube. You can do it!
My Branding Formula that Works for YouTube Videos
Today, I am sharing branding tips that help you get the views and engagement you want online. It is not quick and easy but it is very simple to make little tweaks that make a huge difference in online marketing.
Here’s my branding formula in 3 simple steps:
- Stand for (and against) something. Even if you’re teaching something basic like English grammar, you need to infuse some opinions and personality in there, even if some people don’t like it. The right people will love it.
- Be as consistent as possible with the content and your look.
- Use design wisely. Brand your profile, cover, and individual video image covers. Less is more. Clarity is king. Keep it simple and straightforward. Make sure your branding reflects your personality.
One More Branding Tip…I wish I’d learned earlier:
Brand your video so ‘you’ go wherever your video goes. Because videos on YouTube are often downloaded and reused on other people’s’ channels, you need to brand in your video both verbally and visually. It’s not a bad thing that people “borrow” your videos. You just want to make sure that you get credit for them. Be sure to say your company and/or your name at least once in your video, and embed your company name and/or website in the video too. Take it from me. Branding is what differentiates YouTube Rockstars from the rest.
Make sure they can see and hear your branding throughout your video. There are billions of people in the world and they need what you have to offer. Put your brand out in the world.
